Porvoo is a vibrant and growing city of about 51 200 inhabitants and 4200 businesses.

• An hour’s drive from the centre of Helsinki.
• Just over half an hour from Helsinki-Vantaa airport.

Around 400 companies are set up in Porvoo every year. There are diverse business districts, the boutiques of Old Porvoo and Kilpilahti – the largest oil refining and petrochemical cluster in the Nordic countries – which is becoming the most important hub for the circular economy in Northern Europe.
